If you need a guitar or bass effect pedal custom built, then you have come to the right place!
So if you need a boost, a fuzz, distortion, flanger, chorus, phaser, echo or a serious piece of audio art you will find the right talent here to do the job. Of course, in some cases these guys can do mods to your existing pedal, or even help you get a non working build up to scratch.
Doctor Tweek takes no direct profit from this service... perhaps the builders will buy some parts here in the shop. That's the deal. As a potential customer you can contact Doctor Tweek directly and I will mail out to all the boutique builders who have registered an interst, and who meet the high standards and ethical criteria required. Please only use this service if you are serious about boutique pedal aquisition - please don't expect a hand made, hand wired and hand finished pedal for the price of a piece of factory generated tat. Be aware that these pedals will often be 'one-offs' or tweeked to your specific requirements. This takes materials, time, talent and tenacity. All builders listed have demonstrated their ability in all these areas.

Steve builds effects pedals under the name SJ Audio Devices. Specialising in boosters, overdrives, fuzzes and distortions. Based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. "I like building the good stuff that can add a bit of meat and sauce to your tone!", to quote the man! Most circuits are built on Vero-Board but SJ Audio Services can also easily source and build on PCB’s if required. Only high quality components are employed and the products are designed to be tough, easy to use and great sounding. Usually hand painted these pedals are produced to give them a unique, ‘one of a kind’, look. All pedals are completely handmade by Steve and are shipped in a handmade pedal bag (crafted by Steve's very own fair lady!) ...providing a true boutique experience. The range of FX Pedals from Vachon Audio are unique, bespoke and have all the cool vintage style MOJO everyone is after. Using an etching process all pedals have a vintage look and will never wear away. Due to extensive testing in studios and on the road only a handful of new product lines come out of Vachon Audio every year and all are limited editions. All are numbered and dated.
